Arizona Senate Bill 1162 was signed into law by Governor Ducey. SB1162 amended section 32-3248-1, exempting individuals with chronic pain from dose limitations on opioid-based pain medications. CIAAG is proud to have been a part of this process and would like to thank Barby Ingle from the iPain Foundation for her leadership in this effort.

On April 13, 2022, Arizona Governor Ducey signed Senate Bill 1162 into law. Senate Bill 1162 exempts individuals with chronic pain from dose limitations on opioid-based pain medications.
